INTRODUCTION

Hello, all.

What's this place? Who am I? What's going on?

Oh, right. I guess I should answer some of these questions.

In the first place, I am a writer. I know, I know, there are absolutely LOADS of us, everywhere. Hopefully you'll find my stuff more endearing than the next fellows, however.

I have had the wonderful pleasure of becoming a novelist, driven by a restless, ceaseless urge for something which I can't quite define, but that won't ever leave me alone. It turns out you probably can't make much money doing that when nobody knows who you are or what you write about. This place is an attempt to rectify that situation, amateurish though it may be.

Here you can find a collection of my work, which is comprised of mostly long, rambling game reviews by me. What do I critique? Video games, mostly, but also some other stuff. Why call the site Opinionated Slant? Cause reviews are opinions and reactions. Anyone who pretends otherwise is trying too hard to be objective, so I'm going to be very up front with things.

I'm also working on a supernatural/urban fantasy book series called The Fatewalker Chronicles, if you'd care to check that out and leave a comment or two, I would certainly appreciate it.

This site is pretty new so you should expect a lot of changes over the course of the next few months as I try to figure things out and get things running smoothly. Feel free to leave comments and feedback on the pages where comments are enabled.
